The Lord God in his great mercies has again set free this nation, Fiji. He has set us free from the enemy that had this nation strangled for the last 16yrs. Those that led this country for the last 16yrs, worked for the evil one satan and his angels of wickedness, using the so-called physical development and various rhetoric’s to hide their real intentions. Did they not come to steal, kill and destroy? Did they not steal from you, your rights, your votes, and your wealth? Did they not steal from you, your monies and paid themselves hefty pay wage packets, while you scrounged around for the leftovers, trying to make ends meet. Did they not line up their pockets with our monies, lived lavishly and not lifting a finger to care about you and me.
Remember the words of Christ Jesus in John 10:10, “The devil comes to steal, kill and destroy, but I have come that you may have life and life abundantly”. Where is the hireling now? They have run away”, caring only for their own selves, caring only for their own comfort? They did not care about you and your circumstances. They lied and deceived the people of this land.
Remember, how they put their own in high places, in various high offices, according to their own will, disregarding the processes in place, which are driven for equity and fairness. They talk about equality, justice, incorruption, when they themselves practice the opposite. They changed the constitution, laws to suit their own agendas and cunningly devised intentions. These are self-seeking, seared in their conscience, hiding behind the various masks they have put on, but really are ravenous wolves within.
Fiji wake up and stop being drunk by the various doctrines, teachings and what man term as correct and right. We have the infallible word of God that has come down from his throne, the throne of grace, truth, righteousness and justice. We have the word that has come down from Heaven, from the throne of God, through his prophets, through the only begotten son of God, Jesus Christ, and through his apostles. We have the word of God that allows us, to be able to weigh, to measure, words said and actions performed, whether they are really from God, or from the evil one.
Fiji wake up. There are many spirits in this world. There are many fallen spirits prophesying they are gods, when they are not, saying that they are prophets of God, but they are not. The Bible, the word of God speaks of this fact. 1 John 4:1-3, “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess [a]that Jesus [b]Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.
Fiji wake up. Don’t just follow because someone has said this and said that, because someone has promised you this and that. Don’t just follow blindly because it sounds wise or because it sounds logical, or because it sounds good to the ear. Test it out, test it out whether it aligns itself to the word of God. That’s why you need to know your Bible, know the word God, to see whether what you are hearing is from him, has God’s underlying current or not. Psalm 119:105, says “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path”. If we have the word of life, the word that sheds light then we should not be falling in ditches, or snares done up by the enemy. The very reason of why we fall or are led astray, is because we do not know or ignore the word of the King of the Universe and thus fail to follow what the word of life, the word God is telling us.
As we come out of this darkness that was upon this land for the last 16yrs, let’s set our house in order. Let’s align our lives to the word of God and make him the center of our livelihoods. Let’s look at our lives, our families, and extended families and put emphasis on Godly living, Godly values. Throw out of our lives, what is not according to God’s word and only keep that which is. Let’s cleanse ourselves and rid ourselves of various idols and turn our hearts to God through Christ Jesus. Remember the words of the Lord, 2 Chronicles 7:14,
“14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
Let’s continue to humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God. Humble ourselves under his mighty word and lean not to our own understanding. Let’s continue to pray and seek his face, truly repenting in our hearts and turning our hearts to God through Christ Jesus.
The scriptures, the Bible, the word of God, has been established in Heaven, from the throne of God the Father, to govern the nations of this world, and this includes Fiji. We need to take heed of His words, take heed of that which is written in the Bible, and live our lives accordingly.
It is when we turn our hearts away from God, turn our hearts away from the truth, turn our hearts away from his word, then we end up as captives, end up as slaves, end up as being oppressed under the devil and his acquaintances.
Fiji, do not forget the Lord, God almighty. As he delivered the children of Israel from the hands of Pharaoh, so the Lord God almighty has delivered us from the hands of the oppressor, from the hands of wickedness, from the hands of the devil and his demons, from the hands of those vessels that worked for the evil one.
Tell your relatives, tell your children, and your grandchildren, not to forget the Lord God almighty, but to love the Lord God in all that they say and do. As it was said to the Israelites Deuteronomy 6:4, 4 “Hear, O Israel: [b]The Lord our God, the Lord is one! 5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
So Fiji, with the new dawn of leadership, of a new Government, of leaders who fear God, let’s stand together abiding in the mighty word of God with forgiveness and mercy in our hearts; And speaking and dealing truthfully with one another.
Blessed be the Lord God almighty and his Christ forevermore. Amen.
